Senior Network Administrator
For one of our main clients based in Luxembourg - an European Institution, we are looking for a Senior Network Administrator with expertise in CISCO ACI, Catalyst, Nexus and network automation to join the client's CMS Support Team team in the area of financial supervision, fraud prevention and crime investigation. You will be be part of the IT, Security and Corporate Services Unit, CMS Support Sector. The CMS Support Sector is responsible for the setup, maintenance and daily operational support of client's backend infrastructure and Systems. You will play a crucial role in supporting the successful investigation, prosecution and bringing to judgment crimes against the financial interests of the EU.
More specifically, you will be responsible
- Covering tasks related to design, configuration and management of client's network infrastructure;
- Designing organization/enterprise campus and datacentre networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, NAC);
- Maintaining and monitoring network infrastructure;
- Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the network areas;
- Elaboration of design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders;
- Elaboration of vision documents focused upon IT components;
- Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies;
- Operate IT services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures;
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties;
- Creation and testing of standard operational procedures – backups, restore, monitoring etc.
Are you the perfect match?
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network administration;
- University degree (BSc/MSc);
- In-depth knowledge and proven hands-on expertise in the administration of campus and datacenter networks (configuration, deployment);
- Proven hands-on & advanced experience with Cisco Nexus product line;
- Proven hands-on & advanced experience with Cisco Catalyst product line;
- Proven hands-on & advanced experience with Cisco ACI;
- Proven hands-on experience with CISCO SDA (SD-Access);
- Proven hands-on experience with CISCO DNA-C;
- Proven hands-on experience with CISCO ISE;
- Proven hands-on experience with the setup of a NAC;
- Previous experience with network automation;
- Knowledge and experience with standard monitoring and management tools;
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations;
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment with English as the official working language.
