Role Overview
As a Quantum Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing solutions to tackle interoperability issues in quantum cybersecurity. Think of yourself as both a problem-solver and a collaborator, directly contributing to the creation of leading-edge quantum cybersecurity solutions in an environment where every voice matters.
What You’ll Do
- Build and implement software solutions for quantum technologies
- Dive deep into the interoperability challenges between QKD and PQC, and help solve them
- Collaborate with our team to design and test quantum cryptography innovations
- Explore and experiment with quantum technologies, bridging hardware and software
- Create clear technical documentation and contribute to project deliverables
- Help shape an open, supportive, and innovative workplace
- Stay up to date with advancements in quantum technologies and bring fresh ideas to the table
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Physics, Photonics, Computer Science, IT Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecoms Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Fresh PhD graduates and postdoctoral researchers are highly encouraged to apply
- Curiosity and a passion for quantum communications, networks, and technologies
- Hands-on experience with quantum systems or protocols
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- A team player who can also work independently
- A complementary team member who strengthens our group
- Willingness to spend significant time collaborating closely with the team
- Understanding of the startup environment and its challenges
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English (Luxembourgish is a bonus!)
