Given the ongoing development of our firm, we are currently recruiting:
Senior Accountant
Your role :
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor and following training on our processes and tools (ERP Elite), you will be responsible for managing the accounting of several Arendt & Medernach entities. Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing and monitoring fixed assets;
Defining and recording monthly closing entries, such as accrued expenses and prepaid expenses;
Monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts to ensure the reliability of accounting information, including intercompany reconciliations;
Preparing monthly financial summaries (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, account details);
Preparing monthly and annual VAT returns;
Ensuring data transmission and effective coordination with the fiduciary responsible for tax returns and FAIA reporting;
Actively participating in the preparation of audit files.
Your profile :
You hold a higher education degree (Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting);
You have good knowledge of taxation;
You have at least 5 years of proven experience in accounting, either within a fiduciary firm or in the accounting department of a commercial company;
You are versatile and well organised;
You are recognised for your discretion and integrity;
You are able to work in a multidisciplinary team;
You are fluent in both French and English.
