Our esteemed client, a prominent financial services firm based in Luxembourg, is currently seeking a seasoned and adept Manager Audit with expertise in UCITS funds to join their dynamic team. Position: Manager Audit (Specialized in UCITS Funds)

Location: Luxembourg

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting comprehensive audits of UCITS funds in strict adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
2. Taking charge of audit engagements throughout the entire lifecycle, from planning and risk assessment to execution and reporting.
3. Supervising and guiding audit teams, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional quality of work.
4. Reviewing financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Engaging directly with clients to understand their unique needs, address concerns, and provide valuable insights and recommendations.
6. Identifying potential risks and opportunities for process improvement within clients' operations and internal control systems.
7. Staying updated on developments in the financial services sector, particularly concerning UCITS funds, and applying relevant knowledge to audit engagements.
8. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enhance overall service delivery and client satisfaction.
9. Contributing actively to the enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and procedures within the firm.
10. Upholding the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
3. Extensive hands-on experience in auditing UCITS funds within a reputable audit firm or financial institution.
4. Profound understanding of relevant regulations and standards, including UCITS directives and the regulatory framework in Luxembourg.
5. Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of effectively managing audit engagements and mentoring team members.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while also capable of working independently when necessary.
8. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French or German would be advantageous.
