Banking and Finance Lawyer 3-5 years of Experience

Our client is a well-established international law firm advising leading banks, financial institutions, investment funds and corporate clients on sophisticated financing and cross-border transactions.

To support the continued growth of its Banking & Finance practice, the firm is looking for a lawyer with around 3 to 5 years of experience who has developed a strong transactional practice within the Luxembourg market.

Your Responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on complex financing and transactional matters.
• Draft, negotiate and review finance documentation relating to acquisition finance, real estate finance, fund finance and other lending transactions.
• Work on cross-border transactions alongside colleagues from multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist Partners and senior lawyers on high-profile transactional mandates.
• Develop long-term relationships with an international client base.

Your Profile

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 3 to 5 years of experience gained within a Luxembourg law firm.
• Strong exposure to transactional Banking & Finance and/or Capital Markets matters.
• Candidates coming from a Capital Markets background are strongly encouraged to apply, provided they have developed a genuine transactional practice.
• Experience in purely regulatory work is not the focus of this opportunity.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English. French is a strong advantage.
• German would be considered a significant asset.
• Commercial mindset, strong technical abilities and a genuine interest in transactional work.
