Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.

 

Your role

 

The Deputy Manager AIF is part of the Funds Accounting Department. He is required to perform ad hoc tasks related to the business (audit, tests, projects, controls, business improvements, clients’ relationship, NAV Production Support, etc…). He is also capable of ensuring back-up in absence of the Team Manager. He contributes to the organisation of the production planning and handles escalated queries from the fund controllers. 

 

 

  • Monitor the performance of the team and the efficiency of the operational workflows. 
  • Plan NAV production and coordinate teamwork.
  • Maintain procedures, working instructions, checklists and presentations up to date and lead the enforcement of policies and controls.
  • Ensure that the internal and external clients and / or auditors queries and escalations are handled in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Foster a « One team » spirit within the Unit and facilitate top-down and bottom-up communication channels via One-to-One, Team Meeting and Management Committee.
  • Conduct regular review of NAVs exceptions to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of documents by the team
  • Participate in the Funds Accounting Unit Management Team. 
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks pertaining to funds activity.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and technology changes, assist in the enhancement of funds accounting systems Key contributor to FA digital evolution, test & implement technologies
  • Resolve escalated issues, provide information and support to all the accountants on the team and be available to assist them as needed. 
  • Attend Client’s Meeting or Visit
  • Act as back-up of AIF FA Team Head when required 

Your profile

 

  • Experience in funds accounting, on Multifonds
  • Good knowledge of financial products and their valuation
  • Knowledge of foreign currency hedging and asset pooling techniques
  • Broad vision of fund administration
  • Perfect understanding of the Alternative Investment Funds
  • Fluent in English and professional in French
