Internal Accounting Manager (m/f)

In order to support the growth of our Finance team, we are currently looking for an:

Internal Accounting Manager (m/f)

You will be joining the Finance team composed of 10 dedicated teammates, dealing with the internal accounting of BDO companies. 

In your role, you will:

• Supervise and coach senior or junior accountants and take a role in their technical training;
• Ensure the smooth running of the bookkeeping and reconciliation of our accounts (payable, receivable, fixed assets monitoring, payroll booking);
• Establish VAT / Corporate Tax reports in a timely manner;
• Ensure that local reporting requirements are met;
• Participate in the preparation of periodic business analysis, budget and performance evaluation;
• Participate in the accounting of bank statements;
• Manage and support the statutory audit process;
• Draft and update accounting procedures.

Your profile:

If…

• You are a chartered accountant or have 5/10 years accounting experience in Luxembourg;
• You have a previous experience in people management, ideally in a fiduciary or a similar organisation;
• You have a sound knowledge of Lux Gaap, Luxembourg Tax and VAT returns;
• You have a proactive behaviour, excellent interpersonal skills and a team spirit which allow you to develop very good relationships with your colleagues;
• You are autonomous and endowed with good organisational skills;
• You demonstrate flexibility and adaptability;
• You have an excellent command of French and a good command of English. German and/or Luxembourgish will be strong assets;
• You have an excellent command of the Office Pack and especially of Excel.
