TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Data Protection Unit with developing operational aspects of the data protection program, such as the register of processing activities, DPIA and DSAR processes.
- Assessing the company’s operations and processes to determine data protection risks, providing of legal advice, providing support in the scope of projects with data protection implications.
- Suggest improvements and recommendations with regards to data protection matters.
Accessory tasks:
- Assist in planning, organising compliance training and communications initiatives, updating and maintaining records, and compiling reports.
- Develop and review training material.
- Assist in delivering training sessions to employees and agents.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.
- Support the Compliance Department in the activities required to ensure the implementation of an effective compliance program.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Masters Degree in Law
- First experience related to data protection is considered as an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Fluency in written and spoken English; any other language is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to transform complex topics into clear and engaging materials
- Creative mindset
- Team player, flexible and willing to work on a variety of topics
- Basic understanding of compliance key regulatory and legal requirements is an advantage
- Proving experience in delivering training and/or giving presentations is an advantage
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Permanent, full-time position, based in Luxembourg
- Occasional travel may be required within the Cargolux network
- A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciare, Polizieiliches Fuhrungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- The internal job title for this position will be Officer Compliance.
