We are looking for an Associate Accountant (M/F) on a permanent contract.
Your responsibilities, under the supervision of the Capital Markets Team Manager:
- Assist in the accounting follow-up of a portfolio of securitisation vehicles, compartments and related transactions.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, bookkeeping entries, reconciliations, accruals and supporting schedules.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings and the preparation of annual accounts.
- Support the preparation of tax returns, VAT returns, statistical reporting and other regulatory filings.
- Monitor cash movements, bank accounts, interest payments, fees and other transaction-related flows.
- Assist in the review of transaction documentation and ensure proper operational and accounting processing.
- Liaise with clients, auditors, banks and internal teams on day-to-day accounting matters.
- Support audit processes and information requests.
- Contribute to process improvements and participate in ad hoc projects within the Capital Markets department.
- Stay informed of accounting, tax and regulatory developments relevant to Luxembourg securitisation vehicles and structured finance transactions.
Your qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Audit, Finance or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, fiduciary services, fund administration, corporate services or a similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP.
- Exposure to securitisation vehicles, SPVs, debt instruments or structured finance transactions will be considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, accruals and financial reporting processes.
- Familiarity with Luxembourg tax compliance and VAT reporting will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French will be considered an advantage.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
