As part of a team responsible for core IT operations, the role focuses on the day-to-day running of critical application systems. The position ensures service continuity, operational reliability, and the proper functioning of technical flows between applications and databases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the smooth execution of daily and periodic IT processing activities
- Monitor, start, stop, and control batch jobs, processes, and queues
- Participate in operational end-of-day / end-of-cycle activities
- Maintain production and testing environments
- Perform application deployments and production releases
- Monitor scheduled jobs and investigate technical incidents
- Implement automation solutions to improve recurring operational tasks
- Handle incidents and service requests coming from IT support teams
- Perform first-level technical analysis and escalate when required
- Document incidents, interventions, and operational procedures
- Produce operational KPIs and reports for IT management
- Apply operational procedures and meet defined resolution timelines
Technical Environment & Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix environments
- Proficiency in shell scripting
- Experience with transactional banking systems (core banking-type platforms)
- Knowledge of industrial scheduling / workload automation tools
- Familiarity with application middleware and relational databases
- Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
- Ability to write clear technical and operational documentation
