Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity/Real Estate
Location: Onsite Luxembourg
Employment type: Contract starting ASAP
Kepler Search is currently supporting a well-established financial institution in Luxembourg that is hiring for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their PE/RE department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee the calculation of NAVs.
- Participate in the calculation and recording of fees.
- Investigate risks and assess their impact on NAVs.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of accounting records for Luxembourg investment funds.
- Support billing and coordinate with stakeholders regarding KPIs.
- Coordinate with clients, tax authorities and auditors.
- Review the work of Fund Accountants across offshore teams.
Skills Needed:
- Professional fluency in English and French.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Fund Accountant within the financial services industry in Luxembourg.
- Experience with accounting principles, including Lux GAAP and IFRS.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with alternative investment funds, such as Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure or Private Debt.
