Head of Compliance - Life Insurance

We are looking for the new Chief Compliance Officer to join an established team of 4p.

Our client is a stable and well-established insurance company, belonging to a banking group.

Missions

As the new Head of Compliance and MLRO, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Be responsible for compliance, financial security and permanent controls;
• Manage a team of 4 compliance and AML specialists and coordinate the day-to-day duties of the Team;
• Proactively advise the Board on regulatory obligations and expectations;
• Produce regularly reports to senior management and regulatory authorities on compliance matters;
• Perform regulatory watch and provide guidance with regards to the application of the relevant laws and regulations;
• Participate to all regulatory compliance topics, such as regulation implementation;
• Perform second level of controls over governance policies such as AML/CTF, conflicts of interest ;
• Promote internal awareness of compliance with the Group policies;
• Perform the compliance monitoring program in accordance with the compliance risk assessment;
• Contribute to the improvement of processes

Profil du candidat

Your profile

• Master degree in finance, law, economics or equivalent
• A first successful experience as Head of Compliance, ideally for the life insurance sector in Luxembourg
• Good knowledge of the insurance or banking sector
• Sound understanding of Commissariat aux Assurances' regulations
• A previous managerial experience is a strong asset
• Fluency in in French and English
• Team-spirit, good analytical spirit and autonomous
