Located in Luxembourg City, our client, a global financial services provider, is urgently looking for a:
Senior Accountant - German speaking (m/f)
Within one of their Business Teams, you will be fully in charge of a portfolio of international clients.
POSTE
Main responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Oversee the day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of Luxembourg companies (with German background) under LuxGAAP
- Oversee the preparation of reports for periodic closings and annual financial statements
- Oversee the preparation of periodic and annual VAT and direct tax returns (trainings can be provided if needed)
- Ensure the financial follow-up of clients
- Coordinate client management with other departments
PROFIL
Profile
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting and/or an accounting professional qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position within a fiduciary/service provider in Luxembourg
- Fluency in German mandatory - a (very) good level in English is also expected
- Proven knowledge of Luxembourg accounting and legal requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent inter-personal skills in dealing with both clients and colleagues
