The role :

Head of IT Development is a pivotal role within the organization! Working closely with the CIO, you will provide expertise in IT development strategy.

This essential role will suit an outstanding communicator. You will enjoy taking the business and people forward, and most important of all, you will help shape the company’s vision and mission through excellent technology management practice. You will oversee the entire software development cycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.

You will be in charge of 25+ IT Development professionals who design, develop and implement software solutions to support the company’s objectives.  A strong focus on modernizing, process improvement, and fostering a team culture is essential.

This leadership position encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities including compliance with quality, security and performance standards in software development.

Your profile :

• We are looking for an ICT expert with outstanding people management skills who leads by example and who can drive a team to exceed excellence.

• You must have proven successful experience in a leadership role in software development as well as strong technical expertise in software development, including design, programming, and testing.

• You are passionate about programming languages, frameworks, and development technologies. You have industry specific experience and/or strong knowledge in project management.

• We expect you to come up with new ideas, with the latest industry practices and methods, to be a creative and solution driven individual as well as to manage complex projects and meet deadlines effectively.
