System Engineer

As a member of an international team, the selected candidate will be performing the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop cutting-edge big data applications and cloud services for clients all around the world

• Provide in-house and client-facing consulting

• Work on exciting and challenging proofs of concepts

• Evaluate new DevOps products and technologies

• Work with cool technologies such as Linux, OpenShift, Azure, Elasticsearch, Kibana and higher-order, functional programming languages

Requirements:

• Secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education or preferably a Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum 5 years of experience is similar roles.

• Linux and system administration (eg RHEL, Debian, NixOS, Ansible, Puppet…)

• Shell scripting (eg. Bash)

• Databases (any SQL will do)

• Virtualization (eg. VMWare, Virtualbox, QEMU)

• Container technologies (eg. Docker, Kubernetes)

• Clouds (eg. AWS, Azure, Openshift)

• Consulting and client-facing roles

• Exploring new tools and technologies.

·       Possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills

·       Excellent written and spoken English is required. French is considered as plus.
