Your team

 

The Pictet Group is one of the world’s leading independent wealth and asset managers. Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertiseacross all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital,Risk and Tax departments. 

 

You will support the existing audit team in Luxembourg and work with them by carrying out joint audit assignments, sometimes with colleagues from Germany or Group Internal Audit as well. You will be part of a joint effort to meet the objectives of the Internal Audit function laid down in the annual planning. 

 

Your role

 

  • Managing risk-based audit assignments independently in all areas of the Bank and its subsidiaries such as private client wealth management andinstitutional asset management, fund administration, custodian banking and corporate functions.
  • Writing value-added audit reports to give assurance and insights, as well as making specific suggestions for improvements for control and efficiency andbeing an actor of change.
  • Following up on audit recommendations / measures to be implemented.
  • Conducting regular business partnership meetings with stakeholders and business line management.
  • Assisting the Internal Audit management with planning, presentations and reporting.
  • Managing special audit assignments and ad hoc audit activities.
  • Managing consulting assignments within the business lines to assist the latter with their development. 

 

Your profile

 

  • Banking and Finance training / apprenticeships preferred.
  • University degree (BAC+4/BAC+5) in Economics and Finance.
  • A diploma as a company auditor and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), as well as good knowledge of IT systems and/or data analysis techniques wouldbe an asset.
  • At least four to seven years’ experience as an internal or external auditor in the banking or financial industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent documentation, presentation and communication skills. 
  • Excellent command of English and French coupled with very good writing skills in both languages. 
  • Good knowledge of another language (especially German, Italian or Spanish) would be a plus.
