On behalf of one of our industrial clients based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an EHS Specialist to support and strengthen the site’s Environment, Health & Safety strategy.
Reporting to site management, you will play a key role in driving EHS initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and embedding a strong safety culture across operations with a strong hands-on and field-oriented approach.
Your Responsabilities
- Contribute to the deployment and continuous improvement of the site’s EHS strategy, policies, and tools
- Perform safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams, providing hands-on EHS guidance and on-site coaching
- Prepare and deliver EHS training sessions and awareness programs
- Monitor incidents, accidents, and near-misses, analyze trends, and prepare reports and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external legal and regulatory requirements
- Act as the interface between operational teams and EHS management
- Support the development of a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
- Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and follow-up of EHS non-conformities
- Depending on experience, provide guidance or supervision to more junior colleagues
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- 4 to 8 years of experience in an EHS role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge of EHS regulations, risk management, and audit processes
- Good understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- ESG training is considered an asset
- Training as a designated worker / prevention advisor in Luxembourg is a strong plus
- Training in industrial waste management is an advantage
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Fluency in French and English is required
- Comfortable using IT tools such as MS Office and standard business applications
- Proactive, results-driven, and improvement-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory and legal texts
