Your Role...

The Facility Team Member will join the University's Logistics Department in the Central Administration, to support the University's activities and requirements.

The mission of the Logistics Department is to ensure efficient and effective support of all academic, administrative and event activities at the University premises.

The incumbent will be expected to perform tasks in the following fields:

  • Prepare classrooms, meeting rooms and arrange for office furniture setup,
  • Ensure that the conference and educational equipment is ready for students, professors, and employees.
  • Organise waste collection
  • Place supply orders for drinks and monitor their delivery,
  • Green space maintenance,
  • Accompany the external suppliers and control quality of their services, such as cleaning, pest, lawn mowing
  • Carry-out stock inventory checks and place supply orders when needed
  • Any other logistics tasks, in line with the internal agreements and procedures.

The Logistics Department employees are subject to on-call duty, to always ensure adequate and qualitative services.

What we expect from you…

- Higher vocational certificate or diploma or equivalent by relevant work experience

- 4-6 years of working experience.

- Strong knowledge of services and equipment related to the job description mentioned above.

- Skills in handling techniques: manual (un)load, storage, transport, forklift.

- Good knowledge of standard audiovisual equipment and connecting methods.

- Ability to figure out and implement practical workarounds.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) at end-user level.

- Driving license B.

- Knowledge of health and safety rules at work, as well as security and technical infrastructure will be considered as an advantage

- Very good oral and written expression in French and good knowledge of English (A2); knowledge of German and/or in Luxembourgish is an advantage.
