Join our dynamic team as a Desktop Support Analyst for an exciting 6-month CDD opportunity within the banking sector.
As part of our international team, you'll be based in Luxembourg but actively engaged in a global environment, collaborating with offices worldwide.
Effective teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive desktop support in a Microsoft desktop/server environment.
- Manage and troubleshoot desktop and server hardware, laptops, iOS phones, iPads, and printers.
- Administer and connect Video Conferencing systems, including Cisco, Teams, Webex, etc.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PC hardware, desktop applications, and Office 365.
- Offer excellent client-facing support with a strong client and service orientation.
- Provide printer support for both hardware and server-related issues.
- Utilize expertise in Windows Server 2019 and 2022, Exchange, Office 365, Windows 10, MS Teams, Azure, and OneDrive.
- Build and deploy desktops and laptops using WDS, MDT SCCM, or similar deployment tools.
- Move computer equipment within the office and manage NTFS & Share permissions.
- Address user needs for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, both in the office and for home/remote office setups.
- Create users and device profiles on Cisco CUCM for desktop phones.
- Troubleshoot networking and connection issues.
- Be available for weekend/out-of-hours working when necessary.
- Install and support end-user devices through phone, remote, and in-person assistance.
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, and PowerShell is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Video Conferencing Systems Administration (Cisco, Teams, Webex).
- Proficient in PC hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong desktop application troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent client-facing skills with a focus on client and service orientation.
- Troubleshooting expertise in Office applications and O365.
- Printer support for both hardware and server.
- Exposure to Windows Server 2019 and 2022.
- Knowledge of Exchange, Office 365, Windows 10, MS Teams, Azure, OneDrive.
- Experience in building and deploying Desktops and Laptops using WDS, MDT SCCM, or similar.
- Understanding of NTFS & Share permissions.
- Support for user needs related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, etc.
- Creation of users and device profiles on Cisco CUCM for desktop phones.
- Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
