Test and Prototyping Technician (m/f)

Test and Prototyping Technician (m/f)

Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities would include:

• Preparing samples and performing defined tests
• Documentation of tests, reporting of all test results, deviations, and test conditions to Test Engineer
• Judging test results with pass/fail criteria
• Training new colleagues according to their competencies, documenting internal trainings
• Writing basic assembly-, set-up- and work-instructions
• Reporting organizational issues or any abnormal situation to superior
• Coordinating, programming, and supporting maintenance of resources and devices
• Conducting tests at customer’s site or external locations / service providers
• Backup prototypes build and cutting plotter activity

You would need to meet the following requirements:

• A technical degree in electronics, mechanics, or experience in a technical position
• Good mechanical and/or electrical skills and knowledge
• Test environment working experience is desirable
• Excellent MS Office skills, knowledge of SAP and database systems is an advantage
• Hands-on mentality, a habit for accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach
• Fluency in English (written & spoken) is mandatory, German and/or French is considered an asset
