IFRS Associate – Inhouse Role, Part-Time Possibility

Our client of the day, a holding and investor company located close to Hamilius, is currently seeking an IFRS associate for their team, to support their growth in Luxembourg. More than 20 people are working in this holding, and they all come from different countries, which creates a multicultural and refreshing environment.

This structure has been created more than 10 years ago and has investments in Europe, Asia, and America. There are several departments within the giant office of more than 1000m2 where the company set up the working environment: one specialized in legal and corporate services, another one to offer financial and tax services, and the last one which is more operational and here to support all the other employees (IT, Human Resources…).

This company does not have a classic method of working, as the investments are planned for the long term, and not planned to be put in place and sold after a few years. This represents a security for the employees, and sustainability.

Your Responsibilities | Finance – Accounting – Holding – Luxembourg

• You have to work closely to your colleagues and to help them in case of questions or doubts.
• You are in direct contact with the investors coming from many countries. As a result, you are easy to contact and available for conversations.
• You review annual accounts and consolidate them. Then, you share them with accountants, tax advisors, and investors.
• You are responsible for the preparation of consolidated reporting.
• You try to improve internal procedures to win time and efficiency.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Finance – Accounting – Holding – Luxembourg

• You have between 3 and 10 years of experience as IFRS consultant or associate within a financial structure such as a Big Four in Luxembourg.
• You are fluent in English.
• You hold a degree in finance.
• You do not have the objective to become Manager in the following years, and you feel better in a flat hierarchy with a friendly atmosphere.
• You are rigorous, proactive, and independent. You are able to solve problems and find solutions.

• Your salary will be up to €90.000 gross per year depending on your experience and autonomy in your work, with additional holidays, a pension plan, health insurance, and meal vouchers.
• The office of this company is large and would be able to welcome more than the double of the current number of employees. You will work in this beautiful and bright environment, with a full equipped kitchen to prepare your meal during lunchtime.
• The working hours are flexible in this company, you will have the possibility to come to work from 8am to 10am in the morning.
• You will be able to work part-time, to benefit from one to two days off during the week to have more free time to spend with your family, or for your hobbies.
