A dynamic PFS located in the city center contacted us to assist them in their search for a Senior Accountant for their Accounting team. The PFS has been based in Luxembourg for more than 20 years now, and collaborates only with financial companies such as Soparfi, holding, and of course, investment funds. These clients come from all over the world which creates an international and multicultural environment in the offices.

These last years, the company has known an interesting growth, and the team is now composed of more than 30 people. Furthermore, the human aspect is really important for the people who work in this PFS. Because of that, the employees have good relationships between them, and spend time together even after work to have a drink or to have dinner together for example.

Your Responsibilities | PFS – Senior Accountant – Accounting – Fiduciary – Finance - Abiomis

• You are responsible for a client portfolio composed of SOPARFI, SPV and unregulated funds in Private Equity.  
• You are in charge of the daily bookkeeping of your clients, by preparing the annual accounts, preparing tax and VAT returns as well as reportings.
• You work primarily under LuxGAAP regulations.
• You prepare the work and you also review the work handled by Junior Accountants for example.
• You are in contact with your clients and you regularly answer their questions.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | PFS – Senior Accountant – Fiduciary - Finance - Abiomis

• You have been working in a PFS, a Big Four or a Fiduciary as an Accountant for at least 4 years in Luxembourg.
• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• You are autonomous in handling a client portfolio and are keen to share your acquired skills with the younger generation.
• You are comfortable working in a team, but also being autonomous in your tasks.
• You are able to adapt yourself to different situations, and this allows you to stressful situations that may arise and to find solutions.

• Your salary can go up to 75.000€ per year, which will depend on your level of experience and technical level. In addition to this salary, you will also receive a bonus at the end of the year, meal vouchers, and a pension plan.
