Position Overview: Our client is in search of a Senior Fund Accountant fluent in both English and Spanish to oversee the financial activities of their investment funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting investment decision-making processes. Proficiency in additional languages will be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations for assigned investment funds.
• Reconcile cash positions, investment transactions, and portfolio valuations.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Analyze fund performance and financial data to support investment strategies.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and provide financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in fund accounting or financial services.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and investment concepts.
• Experience with fund accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
