Introduction :
Our client, a reputable banking institution with strong international connections, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join its Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of compliance processes, work in a regulatory-heavy environment, and contribute to maintaining the institution's strong compliance culture.
Responsibilities :
* Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including MiFID, FATCA, CRS, and DATCA.
* Conduct ongoing monitoring and control activities to identify potential compliance risks.
* Review and validate client documentation and transactions in line with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
* Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
* Prepare reports for senior management and regulators, highlighting compliance breaches or emerging risks.
* Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters and regulatory changes.
Profile :
* 5 to 9 years of experience in compliance within a banking environment, preferably private or corporate banking.
* Solid knowledge of MiFID, FATCA, CRS, and DATCA is mandatory.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
* Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
* Proactive, professional, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive information.
