On behalf of a prestigious international banking institution, we are seeking a dynamic Risk Officer to join an expert Risk Management Department. This role is ideal for a quantitative professional who wants to move beyond simple monitoring and into the heart of strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, you will ensure the bank's sustainable growth in alignment with Board strategies and European regulations.

Your Strategic Impact

  • Comprehensive Risk Oversight: Identify, measure, and report on Market, Credit, Operational, Liquidity, and ICT risks.
  • Second Line of Defense: Act as a key partner to business units (1st line), coordinating the mitigation and monitoring of risk profiles.
  • Regulatory Leadership: Coordinate the issuance of essential strategic documents, including ICLAAP, Recovery Plans, and Pillar 3 reports.
  • Advanced Modeling: Actively participate in the modeling of Expected Credit Loss, IRRBB, and liquidity cash-flow projections.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain the stress test program and improve risk management databases and systems.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: Master's degree in Economics or Finance with strong quantitative skills.
  • Expertise: Knowledge of the regulatory environment, specifically CRR/CRD, CSSF circulars, and EBA guidelines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced modeling skills and mastery of Office packages.
  • Experience: 5 years in Risk Management or ICT security is highly valued.
  • Credentials: A recognized certification such as FRM or PRM is considered a significant advantage.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential.
